(1) If any foreigner who does not appear before the investigating officer according to the notice given by the investigating officer or within the deadline set in accordance with section 42 has any property, right, interest or interest in Nepal, such person shall appear before the investigating officer. Unless such property, right, interest or interest is kept in the status quo as determined by the investigating officer, the investigating officer may issue an order so that it cannot be taken out of Nepal and it will be the duty of all concerned to comply with such order.
(2) The investigation officer may fine a person who does not comply with the order under sub-section (1) up to one lakh rupees, and if any kind of loss or damage has been caused to the Government of Nepal or a public organization due to the non-compliance of such order, the same shall also be paid by him.
